This web site was an idea by Dave and friends as an effort to educate Westerners about Thailand culture as it relates to women and their values, and what it really takes to live here. This is done through information we present here as well as through our forum and discussions during our members meetings.

Dave lives in Phuket, so most of the information is related to or experienced in Phuket, but is valid for Thailand in general.

Our 1st Member, Lee, designer of this site and Webmaster, has lived in Phuket for over 2 years and has been coming to Thailand for over 20 years before moving here. He was previously married to a Thai for many years and has travelled throughout the northwest of Thailand. Lee is currently married to a Thai since April 2008.

He can provide many insights into the Thai culture and language as well as procedures for a marriage visa and extensions.

Northwestern Thailand

Dave and Lee collaborated on the original text and information presented in this site.

There are no photo galleries in our site, but there are a smattering of photos on almost every page, hovering your mouse over an image will show text where the photo was taken in Thailand. Clicking on a photo will open a window to show you a larger view. Photos are from various locations throughout Thailand.

Results from our meetings will be posted here, such as the number of members in attendance, and topics of discussion.
